As hinted in the name, Smoky Quartz is a variation of Quartz that holds a cloudy, or “smoky” colouration caused by a mixture of aluminium, iron, and irradiation. You can find this cloudy crystal form pseudo-hexagonal points in geodes and on mother rocks.
