GEOLOGY
The vibrant green Malachite forms in shallow depths within the Earth and is a product of the oxidation of copper. Its distinct swirl and striped forms are often accentuated by polishing, while raw formations display more earthy colour and silky specimens with a gentle sheen. In the past, it was mined with the main intention of obtaining copper.
Born in The Congo, Namibia, and Mexico.
